Designer

Conran Design Group, Brooklands studio, was a studio which served Procter & Gamble’s U.K. headquarters in Weybridge. The work was varied, meeting the requirements and the demands of major brands. Hugo Boss, Giorgio Beverly Hills, Pringles, Max Factor, Olay and Pantene are a few of the brands which I worked with & supported. The projects ranged from a full compliment of point of sale design to brochures, sales incentives, posters and leaflets in a very fast paced environment. Long hours and big budgets met with demanding clients.

Junior Designer

A long period of work experience becoming paid work. Working on a wide range of design work from mood boards to mock-ups, cut and paste also mounting and initial design & concept work. I enjoyed working here lots, though not much was done on computer till the very end. Dave Brown’s philosophy was then to keep the design pure, done on paper and markers and by hand to keep the free flow of ideas and keep the magic. There was however a massive Macintosh suite building with the know how and technology to achieve your ideas. Mainly working on fmcg but also such things as National Lottery scratch cards. A very good experience for a very nice company.
